I recently had the first service completed on my Elise as it passed its 1000 mile mark. While many may consider this to be the world’s most expensive oil change, for a handbuilt car like the Elise, I take comfort in knowing a trained mechanic is going over the car to make sure everything’s right. Now that the first service has been completed, I’ve been able to explore the upper limits of the powertrain, and am quickly becoming addicted to the acceleration above 6k rpm. Combine that with the fantastic chassis, and I have a hard time finding roads around here where I can really exploit the car’s full potential.
