2007 Elise – first pictures!
Lotusowners.com has what I believe are the first pictures of the 2007 Elise. The changes are, as expected, minimal. The headlights are the most obvious change – note the addition of the small DRL at the top. The front and rear clamshells appear identical, so it’s unclear whether Lotus has done anything behind them to meet the 2.5mph bumper standards, or if they just got their exemption extended. Oddly, the Lotus rep that had brought the car refused to open the engine cover, so there is a possibility that they’ve made some tweaks to the engine – or perhaps added a supercharger option…
